ECAE is governed by a Board of Directors, elected at the Annual General Meeting for two-year terms, as outlined in our bylaws.
Many Eritreans left their homeland due to difficult political circumstances. In Edmonton, ECAE was formed to make sure we do not lose our identity, culture and language, and so we can support one another in our new home. Members are free to join any political or religious organization as individuals – but within ECAE, we focus only on community unity and service.
